APFAM | Objectives

To foster, promote and enhance service delivery initiatives, social welfare policy and exchange professional development as these relate to families and relationships among family members.
To encourage and strengthen the development of services for families and family members.
To foster an exchange of learning across cultures, share professional practices and expand professional development and training opportunities for mutual benefit.
To encourage interest and cooperation in specific families and their relationship needs in Malaysia in specific and in the Asia Pacific Region in general.
To promote the interests of families and family members in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific Region through international CONFERENCES and forums and a professional journal; and
To develop appropriate linkages with relevant international bodies and to maximize opportunities to contribute to regional and international policies which will relate to the well-being of families and family members in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific Region.
